Casting Games 2017
Date: May 16, 2017
Venue: Simms Millennium Park (location details on the website calendar: cvff.ca )
Time: 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm
-actual competition begins @6:00pm
-food and beverages available throughout (tube steaks, pop, and water)
-Tenkara casting demonstrations/lessons
Rules:
–RODS C/W REELS AND LINES WILL BE SUPPLIED! NO PERSONAL EQUIPMENT WILL BE ALLOWED NOR PRACTICE WITH SUPPLIED EQUIPMENT!!!!
– for all but the distance casting, three (3) practice casts, false casts not included, followed by ten (10) attempts (max.) per station will be allowed
-up to nine (9) stations will be set up
-stations will attempt to mimic real world stream challenges
-personal cards will be filled in by station monitor at each station
-distance casting station will sum three casts not including false casts. No practice and only three attempts will be allowed
Prizes:
-grand prize will be for lowest overall score of up to nine (9) accuracy stations
-secondary prize for the distance challenge
-prize for the secret station will be announced after competition ends
-prize draws on ticket sales will be held at end of competition
-and: EVERYONE MUST HAVE FUN
